Losheim am See
Our second colocation partner is the high-security and high-performance data centre of KÜS DATA GmbH in Losheim in Saarland. Here, too, we enjoy 24/7 uncomplicated access to our own hardware and feel that we are in the best of hands in every respect.
In this ultra-modern data centre, security and, in particular, reliability are guaranteed by every trick in the book. From the consistently redundant N+N power connection and the 1 megawatt emergency power system to the GanITe server rooms, which protect against all conceivable dangers, including explosions, we can offer our hardware the ideal home here with a clear conscience.
The use of exclusively green electricity from hydroelectric power and the PV equipment in the building itself also take appropriate account of the basic ecological concept. Computer centre „SAAR 1”
Saarwellingen
Our first colocation partner since day 1 has been the SAAR1 data centre of VSE NET GmbH. The modern data centre, which is divided into several protection zones, is comprehensively protected against common dangers from lightning strikes to water ingress or vandalism and has provided a safe home for our hardware for years.
The multiple redundant high-performance connection to the data network offers everything the hosting heart desires and the connection to the energy network is also redundant in every respect. Two disjunctive lines, battery buffers and two generators ensure the continuous operation of the server landscape even in the worst-case scenario.
What we also really like is that we can be on site in a short space of time to put our own hands on our machines.
In addition to certified security measures in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, the data centre is tekit level 3 certified and therefore fulfils all the standards of both BSI IT basic protection and BITKOM TIA-942 or ISO 27001, thus demonstrably guaranteeing maximum reliability.

Some of our managed cloud servers are operated in Nuremberg and Falkenstein by our long-standing and reliable hosting partner Hetzner.

As in our data centres, we also attach great importance to compliance with security guidelines and data protection in our offices and on our employees’ work devices. To this end, we use state-of-the-art solutions and security mechanisms, which we also coordinate with the data protection authority in regular audits.
While large cloud hosters often rely purely on remote employees and call centres, we still appreciate the advantage of real office communities, where colleagues can build up solid trust and loyalty.
For a modern work-life balance, however, we no longer want to do without remote work and therefore rely on a balanced mix of office and remote work. This enables us to combine a high level of satisfaction and a sense of community with the appropriate sense of responsibility.
